Trident Marine held an after hours and ribbon cutting event with the Pell City Chamber of Commerce on Aug. 2.

“We love being part of the community and the business community,” said co-owner Jeff Tolbert, Jr. “It helps so much to further growth and we want to be good stewards in the area.”

Trident Marine located to the former Lakeside Marine location at 4608 Martin St. South in Pell City in April and has seen steady growth since. 

“It has been wonderful,” said Erika Davis, office manager who also worked at Lakeside Marine. “We have a lot of new customers and still have our long time loyal customers.” 

Tolbert commented on the fantastic reception from the community and the employment team that was previously established.

“They (Lakeside Marine) had an existing reputation for service which we are continuing,” said Tolbert.

Trident Marine sells and services pontoon boats, including Forest River, SouthBay, Burkshire, and Trifecta. 

“In central Alabama we have a lot of good fishing and recreation lakes,” Tolbert said. “Pontoon boats are one of the most popular platforms in the country. They are very user and family-friendly.”

Trident Marine is one of the sponsors of Coosapalooza, which will be held on Aug. 25 beginning at 12 p.m. at Caribe Club and Marina.

“This community is centered around the lake and it’s a good playground in our backyard,” said Tolbert. “It’s a great recreational and fishing lake and the opportunity to further expand in Pell City was a no-brainer for us.”
