Two Ashville residents were arrested on June 1 after warrants were executed by the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division. 

Sidney Fitts, 48, was arrested at a residence in Ashville and charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

Carrie Gardner, 41, was also at the residence and was arrested on a failure to appear on felony promoting prison contraband. 

Gardner and Fitts are both in the St. Clair County Jail in Ashville. Fitts has a bond of $60,786 and Gardner has no bond at this time.
