Burglary suspects held at gunpoint until deputies arrive

An unnamed victim of a burglary in Pell City held two suspects at gunpoint until St. Clair County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene Monday.
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a call on Turtle Rock Road in Pell City to a burglary in progress.
According to reports, the victim found two suspects inside the home and was holding them at gunpoint until the Sheriff’s Office arrived.
Joshua Bell, 30, and Brooklyn Noriega, 30, both of Pell City, were found inside the home with a loaded syringe of a clear liquid (methamphetamine) and several empty syringes upon the officer’s arrival.
The suspects were taken into custody without incident and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and burglary, third degree.
They are being held at the St. Clair County Jail in Pell City on a $65,000 bond.
