Springville Pediatrics held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 8 at Springville Station adjacent to Wal-Mart.

The turn out was successful and a buzz in the air with excitement and anticipation for the new pediatric practice. The vision of Springville Pediatrics is to be great providers, with genuine passion for giving children the very best medical care every day.

Springville Pediatrics is excited to be involved in community events, school functions and grow the practice so they can provide access to specialty pediatric services. They will start seeing patients on March 12. They will initially start with three full time providers, and add staff and extended hours, including weekends, as the patient load demands.

Springville Pediatrics has been designed to let every patient know that they are not simply a chart or another face in the crowd. They have built a team and an environment that provides exceptional care, with smiling faces, and strives for nothing short of excellence. They do not wish to ever become routine or stagnant, there will always be a continuous effort to improve the patient experience.

Springville Pediatrics wants to be a part of the community and involved in all the needs of children and supporting families both inside and outside of the office.

She partnered with Dr. Peter Strogov of Fort Payne Pediatrics as co-owner to start Springville Pediatrics.

Dr. David Griffin and Molly Shelton, CPNP, will both be joining the team in April. Dr. Griffin will serve as the staff pediatrician. He is from Tampa, Florida.
