Bart Perry grew up in Pell City, so when a position became available to open his own office, he readily accepted.

“It is a great blessing for me and my family to be an agent in my hometown,” Perry said.

Perry recently opened his own State Farm agency, taking over from retiring agents Ed Deason and Connie Myers. Perry said he had “big shoes to fill” but is thankful for the opportunity. Perry has worked for State Farm for four years as an agent aspirant, and recently became a licensed insurance agent.

The Pell City Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location on Hwy 231 in Pell City on Thursday, Feb. 15.  The new State Farm office is located at 1000 Forrest Lane, Suite 1, Pell City.
