The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic’s investigation led to a traffic stop and arrest of Bobby James Poe, 44, of Pell City.

According to a report from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, the arrest occurred on Feb. 21 on County Rd. 54 at the Dam Store in Pell City.

Poe is being charged with three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a pistol by a violent felon and possession of brass knuckles.

Poe is currently in the St. Clair County Jail in Pell City with a $106,000 bond.
