Each year the organizers of Pell City’s Dancing with Our Stars raise money for a local charity. This year, proceeds from the event will benefit the Pell City Police Foundation, and some of the PCPD officers, along with Police Chief Paul Irwin will be taking the dance floor in support.
The 5th Annual Pell City’s Dancing With Our Stars is this Friday, Feb. 23 at Celebrations. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the food court and at 7 p.m. dance competition begins.
Including the PCPD, they have 14 dance acts, 64 dancers, and five judges. Organizers expect about 450 people in attendance and will have a Silent Auction to help raise funds. Last year, the event raised $11,000 for the Pell City Fire Department. This year, their goal is to raise at least $14,000.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
