Congratulations to Main Street Family Urgent Care for being chosen as the 2017 Business of the Year by the Moody Area Chamber of Commerce last week at their December event. MainStreet Family Urgent Care is a new medical facility on Moody Parkway offering quality health care without an appointment. Their staff has hit the ground running and have poured themselves into the community. This group has worked very hard this year and definitely deserve recognition. Christine Morrow, Office Manager and Education Coordinator, accepted the award. Christine is currently serving on the MACC Board of Directors. Again, congratulations to MainStreet!

I was honored for my business, adr Business & Marketing Strategies, to be a finalist for this award along with Steve Sink, Edward Jones Financial Advisor. Other festivities at the chamber luncheon included Christmas music by Sara Grace Thurman, a local homeschool student, and Ryan Taylor, a member of Crosspointe Church. Brent Earnest with A & C Auto Sales conducted his last meeting as Outgoing President and Heath Williams of Covenant Mailing & Printing will begin his tenure as Incoming President in January. Also, the MACC December Business of the Month, Moody Civic Center, was recognized.

Next month, the incoming Board of Directors for 2018 will be recognized.
