‘Reasonable Doubt’ co-host joins Pell City Police Department

The Pell City Police Department (PCPD) hired Retired Birmingham Police Department Sergeant Christopher Anderson as a part time Detective beginning Nov. 20.  

Detective Anderson has over 20 years of experience with the Birmingham Police Department and as an investigator with CSX.  He retired from the Birmingham Police force in 2016, with a total of 21 years with the department and 17 years as an investigator. Anderson is also the co-host of “Reasonable Doubt” on the Investigation Discovery (ID) Channel, a role he will continue while working part-time with the Pell City Police Department. 

“I am excited to have someone with Chris’ experience and passion as an investigator with our department. I know Chris will be an asset to our department and I look forward to him joining our team,” Chief Irwin stated.

“Our investigators work together and share information that has led to our success in closing and obtaining warrants in the prosecution of cases, “ Irwin continued. “I am glad everyone here at our department has embraced my decision to hire Detective Anderson to serve Pell City and assist us in continuing our goals of service to our community.”
