For Veterans Day, I would like to honor my Veterans. Christopher E. Lee joined the U.S. Air Force in January 1967; he served 7 years.  SSGT. Christopher Lee was a member of 377 6th student squadron, Sheppard AF Base, Texas.  He was an honor graduate from his techical training school and was assigned to the Trasient Alert section of the 631st Material Squadron Don Muang, RTAFB Thailand.  SSGT Lee is a 1966 graduate of Pell City High School. 

John Clifton Kay served in the Army and drove a truck.  He was an expert rifleman and served in Okinawa, Hawaii.  All five Kay brothers served in various parts of Europe during World War II.  All returned home. 

Ragland Band held the Band Expo at Joan Ford Stadum for St. Clair County this year and let me tell you there was some amazing bands there.
