The Springville High School Beta Club, sponsored by Chic-Fil-A, is selling wreaths to honor veterans through “Wreaths Across America.” The wreaths sell for $15 and will be placed at Arlington National Cemetery.

Treats on Main sponsored by the Springville Chamber of Commerce had a record turn out on Halloween Day.

Congratulations to the Springville Cross Country Team for placing second at the Sectional Tournament at Fairview. The team will now advance to the State Championship Tournament.

The Springville Farmers Market on Main Street (across from PNC Bank) is growing and creating a buzz with local honey, fresh vegetables, local artisan crafts and fun, food offerings. The Springville Farmers Market will be open every Friday from 3p.m.-6p.m. and Saturdays from 8a.m. -12p.m. until November 11th with booths from local produce vendors and craft and art vendors.

Springville Police Department is presenting a Firearms Safety course which is open to the public. The Springville Civil Air Patrol meets every Tuesday from 6pm – 8:30 p.m. at the National Guard Armory. The age requirement is 12-18 years of age and adults may also join as senior members. Cadets learn leadership skills, aerospace, character development, as well as team work. Cadets also learn piloting skills.
