Ragland Library Reading Program starts June 7, 1 p.m. at Ragland City Hall. Come out and enjoy yourself.

Ragland Library Summer Reading Programs:

• June 7 (Wednesday): 6th Day Creatures at Ragland City Hall beginning at 6 p.m.
• June 14 (Wednesday): Magic Man at Ragland City Hall beginning at 5:30 p.m.
• June 20 (Wednesday): Music Man at Ragland City Hall beginning at 10 a.m.
• June 21 (Wednesday): Starshine Faces at Ragland City Hall beginning at 10 a.m.
• June 27 (Tuesday): Yarborough’s Reptiles at Ragland City Hall beginning at 5:30 p.m.
• June 30 (Friday): Pizza Party/Finale at the Ragland Public Library beginning at 3 p.m.

The Ragland Splash Pad is open! The current hours are 1:00-7:00p.m., seven days a week. To activate the splash pad, press the red button located on the green controller box.

The RHS Band is also having their annual community calendar sale please get with your favorite band member or myself to get your order in today. They will be selling them ALL summer. $7.50 a calender with one free listing (birthday, in memory of, anniversary), 25 cents for each additional listing, and ads are $40 and tax deductible. 

I would like to say this about the trash around town. Several people took time to clean up the parks, creeks and our streets so please take pride in our small town. QUIT throwing your garbage out. It only takes a few seconds to put in a bag or a can.
