FLW High School Fishing Alabama Open coming to Logan Martin

Fishing League Worldwide (FLW) High School Fishing Alabama Open is slated for Saturday, April 22 on Logan Martin Lake. There is no entry fee for the bass-fishing tournament, open to students grades 7-12. 

Lakeside Park in Pell City will serve as venue for land-based activities. Takeoff will be at 6 a.m. and weigh-in at 2 p.m.—both are free and open to the public. 

The two-person team event is open to any high school fishing team in the country. The top ten percent of finishers will advance to the High School Fishing National Championship at Pickwick Lake in Florence June 27-July 1. The national champions will each receive a $5,000 college scholarship to the school of their choice.

The deadline for registration is Friday, April 21.
