Hello, Readers! I’m back with this week’s edition of “What’s Up In Odenville.”
I’m counting down the days until I leave for my annual trip to Tampa to visit my baby sister. Seven excruciatingly long days until I’m chillaxin’ at the pool, basking in the sun without a care in the world—besides which swimsuit to wear with my sunglasses or what color nail polish to paint my toes. Divas DO stress about the small things. It’s in our generic make up.
Let’s get to be news.
Snyder Old Fashion Barber Shop located off 411 behind Lil’ Mart is now open. Men’s cuts are $8 and senior’s cuts are $7 every day. Stop by and welcome Joey to the community!
Congratulations to 10 year old Carter Moore of Odenville on harvesting his first gobbler along with his Majestic Outdoors mentor/field buddy David Pentecost from Piedmont! 18 pounds 14 ounces, 10 and a half inch beard—and seven eighths inch spurs. Way to go!!
Jacob George and Brody Anderson—along with boat captain Scott Holmes—brought home a fifth-place finish out of more than 200 high school teams at the Alabama Student Angler Bass Fishing Association (ASABFA) tournament at Neely Henry. Awesome job, guys!
