Registration is now open for the 4th Annual Mid-Winter Writers Conference, which will be returning to Pell City next month. The all-day conference will include workshops, activities, and presentations from experts in the field. Writers of all skill levels and genres are welcome to participate and learn more about their craft. Highlights of the day include two writing contests, poetry and fiction, each with a $100 prize. 

The conference, sponsored by the local organization Writers Anonymous, will be held on Sat. Feb. 25 at the Pell City Public Library. For more information on the conference or to register, visit mmwconference.com.
