Two pedestrians were struck by a pick-up truck at the intersection of 20th Street and Cogswell, in downtown Pell City. The incident occurred at approximately 3:33 p.m. on July 12. 

According to PCPD’s Don Newton, the truck was turning left and struck the two pedestrians in the crosswalk.  

The pedestrians were identified by Newton as Jeffery Wade Barker and April Lynn Colburn. He said that only one was transported to the hospital, and they believed that none of their injuries were serious. 

Emergency personnel from PCPD, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, Pell City Fire Department were on the scene, as well as paramedics.
