District One, let me introduce myself. Yes, I am Jon’s brother or Mr. and Mrs. Arnett’s son. I also happen to be very proud to be Deb’s husband and Ashley’s father. I am running for City Council because I see room for improvement in our district. District One has potholes, dangerous intersections, and blight. I want to see these roads paved, and the trash picked up, but I want to see District one grow. The Eden area’s only restaurant closed down with the bridge improvement. Fox Hollow is almost forgotten due to the downturn in the economy. Let me put my experience in government to work for us.

I graduated Pell City High School in 1994. I enlisted in the U.S. Navy my senior year and entered boot camp shortly after graduation. I was stationed in a few places NAS Whidbey Island in Washington State, Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, and the USS Abraham Lincoln in Everett, Washington.

I have well over 10 years of experience in Municipal Government. I graduated with an AS from Jefferson State and Manga Cum Laude from Athens State University College of Business. I have personally filled pot holes, dug ditches, worked with blighted neighborhoods; I worked with city leaders and the community to improve economic development. I wish to use the vast knowledge to start helping my community.
