LEEDS – Mr. Earl Preston Hawkins, Sr. age 95 of Leeds, AL passed away April 19, 2016. Mr. Hawkins was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cathleen Pearson Hawkins; parents, Jesse Earl Hawkins and Mamie Lou (Lucy) Knowles Hawkins.

He is survived by his son, Earl Hawkins, Jr.; daughters, Cathy Lou Hawkins Watson (Robert), Alra Joy Hawkins Hoeft (David), and Susan Alayne Hawkins Dennison (Eric); grandchildren, Virginia Lyn Watson, Robert Henry Watson III, Tanisha Michelle Hoeft Smith, Jesse Alan Hoeft, Michael Preston Dennison, William Jon Dennison, Mary Johanna Dennison; great grandchildren, John Paul Nelson, Daniel Lucas Nelson, Katelin Odessa Nelson and great-great grandchild, Karter Reid Stewart.

Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. from Kilgroe Leeds Chapel on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Burial followed at Forest Crest Cemetery.
