Mr. And Mrs. Harold Bryant of Odenville, Ala., proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Ms. Melissa Lauren Bryant, to Mr. Kirtland Charles Cahill.

Lauren, a resident of Cumming, Ga., is the granddaughter of Brenda Parrish and Ronald Parrish (deceased), of Springville, and Mr. and Mrs. Earsey Bryant of Oneonta (deceased). She is a graduate of Appalachian High School and Gadsden State Junior College. She is currently employed at Georgetown Pediatrics.

Kirtland is the son of Mr. Jeffrey Cahill of Dawsonville, Ga., and Ms. Melissa Simpson Cahill of Alpharetta, Ga. He is the grandson of Beatrice Simpson of Cumming, Ga., Silas Simpson of Alphretta, Ga., Jean Cahill of Cumming, Ga. and Charles Cahill (deceased). Kirtland attended South Forsyth High School and Lanier Technical College. He is currently employed as a Project/Account Manager at Dixon Group Services.

The couple is set to exchange vows before friends and relatives on Oct. 16, 2016 at The Wright Farm Wedding Venue in Roopville, Ga., at 4 p.m.
