Fourth Annual Chicken Head Run
The Third Annual Chicken Head Run will be held at Lakeside Park in Pell City on April 9. The event, which features a 10K, a 5K and a 1-mile Fun Run, benefits the Zachary Mason Memorial Foundation, which provides scholarships to local students.
Registration for the run will be online at any time and on the day of the event. To register online, visit runsignup.com.
Continuing to give the gift that keeps on giving, St. Clair County citizens are doing their neighborly duty of extending kindness to one another through the Cedar Grove blessing swap. Honored to have the opportunity to offer this to people who need these blessings, members of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Leeds look forward to hosting their third Blessing Swap, April 9 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Following the Renew our Rivers cleanup, Logan Martin Lake Protection Association is hosting a celebratory picnic. The organization decided to make not only a celebration of cleaning the lake, but also a celebration of start of the lake season. The picnic will be at noon on April 9, at Lakeside Park.
