Duran North science fair winners eligible for regional competition next month

The annual science fair was held at Duran North on Jan. 27. There were over 60 entries from the eighth grade Honors Science classes.

Students presented their projects to judges from the local science and engineering community. Seventeen students had projects that qualified for the CARSEF Regional Science fair at UAB, which will be held on Saturday, March 5. A selection of these winning projects will be presented at the February board meeting
