Ragland Highlights

Week 8 matchup: Ragland (2-5) @ Donoho (1-5)

This upcoming road game in Anniston is a great opportunity for Ragland to set the right tone for the last few weeks of the season. Donoho has continued to struggle, and their big shutout loss last week against Hadley (46-0) has the Falcons reeling.

The Purple Devils’ defense will need to penetrate an experienced offensive line, led by 250-pound senior center Jessie McWilliams. Quarterback Ross Svenson has two weapons in the Falcons’ backfield – #82 junior fullback Chandler Collins and the best athlete on the team, junior tailback Mitchell Baker, Jr. (#17). Ragland’s defense has shown this year that it can contain running attacks, and it will need to do exactly that this week.
