Running back Shawn Traywick contributed 85 of the Lions’ 368 rushing yards, as well as a touchdown and an explosive 85-yard kickoff return to help in the victory. Week 3 Preview: Victory Christian vs. Talladega Co. Central

Roberson and the Lions’ defense have a tall order ahead of them next week containing the TCC’s running attack. Quarterback Darrel Maples is a slippery scrambler who excels at extending broken plays. Behind him are two huge running backs in #22 Kylen Cross and #33 Dequavion Wright, who are both 220-pound punishers that wear down their opponents with their sheer size.
