The S.I.N. (Stop It Now) Bullying Block Party was a huge success. Over 700 people attended and I hope next year will be just as successful. The weather was great, the food was good, the people were nice and the music was awesome. If the event helps one person to not be bullied anymore, then it was a success. Hopefully every day we see a change until no one is bullied anymore!
Thanks to Ragland Methodist Church, Morning Star Church, The Town of Ragland, National Cement, Teen Challenge, volunteers, Tami Vernon, musicians, and family and friends for coming out. If I have forgotten anyone I do apologize, but know we appreciate you. Thank you!
Birthdays this week are: Kelly Deason, Mandy Carter, Shea Wilkerson, Barbara Jacobs, Paula Hardy, Jennifer Bice, Bryan Kay, Kelly Hare, Becky Campbell, Tina Echols, Dylan Dean.
Our deepest sympathies are extended to Gwen St. John Fuller, family and friends. She will be missed dearly. May God continue to watch over you.
