Seems like the days are passing so fast! I have really enjoyed participating with Leadership St. Clair County this year and am even more proud of our county after completing this program, which is organized by the St. Clair County Economic Development Council. Growing up here and spending most of my life here, I can attest to where we were and how far we’ve come. I am super proud of our leaders and how everyone works together toward the common goal for the greater well being of the residents here in St. Clair County.
Our last leadership day concentrated on Quality of Life, which began aboard the Coosa Queen Riverboat at Riverside Landing where we cruised on Logan Martin with a narration by Riverside Mayor, Rusty Jessup. During the day, we toured the Bamboo Farm, the Big Oak Ranch with Brodie Croyle speaking and the new Moody Splash Pad with Mayor Joe Lee presenting an overview of the Moody expansion planned.

We ended the day at the new St. Clair County Arena in Odenville where we watched horse maneuvers and then received our graduation certificates. I am very thankful for the friends I have made and the knowledge I have gained over the last nine months.
