Thanks to a grant from the National Park Service’s Land And Water Conservation Fund, the City of Springville will be updating lighting at its ball fields this year. During a February meeting, the Springville City Council accepted the LWCF grant for $40,000. Total cost for the upgrade will be $110,000, with the city paying $70,000. Engineering for the project will be conducted during the spring season, and the upgrades should be complete before fall ball tees off.
