Summer vacation ends Aug. 7 for students in St. Clair County and Pell City Schools, as they return to the classroom to begin the 2014-15 term.  

Students in Leeds City Schools have a few more days to enjoy their time off before resuming classes on Wednesday.

Among those hitting the books today is Moody High senior Kayla Luster.  A dual enrollment student through Jeff State, she is also a student athlete as a member of the Lady Blue Devils’ varsity vollleyball team.

“I’m excited and nervous about starting my senior year,” she said.  “I’m looking forward to making memories with all of my friends.”
