Pell City businessman Tommy Bowers has been appointed to the St. Clair County Commission.

He was named late last week by Gov. Robert Bentley fill Chairman-elect Paul Manning’s District 3 seat on the commission in November.

Bowers currently serves as chairman of the St. Clair County Economic Development Council.
