Metro Bank community cookout

Metro Bank of Pell City announces a community cookout to celebrate 25 years of serving the east-central Alabama community and thanks its customers for their dedication and loyalty.
Community members are invited to join the staff, family and friends of Metro Bank at 11 a.m. Friday, May 23, at for hamburgers, hot dogs, face painting, games and giveaways. The cookout will take place on the front lawn of the Metro Bank Pell City branch.
Upon announcing the community cookout, Don Perry, the bank’s president and CEO, said: “We want this celebration to honor all of our great customers and shareholders. We hope everyone comes by to help us celebrate 25 years of serving our communities. We are grateful for every single customer and would not be successful without them.”
Metro Bank is an Alabama state chartered bank founded in 1989 by the late Ray Cox. With nine branches in east-central Alabama, Metro Bank has an asset size of about $660 million, which ranks it around the 13th largest state bank.
During the past 25 years, Metro Bank has been consistently ranked as one of the best performing banks in the state and has been ranked as high as 48th nationally among similar sized banks.
