Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific”

Pell City High School’s drama club recently presented Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific” at the Center for Education and Performing Arts.
Adapted from James Michener’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, “Tales of the South Pacific,” the musical is set in a South Seas island during World War II. An entertaining story in its own right, the production is also a tale about confronting and overcoming prejudices.
