Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries opening soon

Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries will be open in Pell City on Monday, April 28th. The formal Ribbon Cutting will take place on Tuesday, April 29th at 11 a.m. It will be the first Hwy 55 to open in Alabama. Formally know as Andy’s Burgers in North Carolina, Hwy 55 is located throughout the Us, Middle East, and Canada. Pell City is just the first stop, Hwy 55 plans on putting 50 locations throughout the State of Alabama.
The 50’s style Diner was voted “Best Burger” in 2012 by Burgerbusiness.com and is best know for it’s burgers and frozen custard. Hwy 55 will be adding an estimated 45 part-time jobs to our local economy.
With each franchise that is opened , Hwy 55 presents a check to a local children’s charity. Founder and CEO, Kenny Moore, will travel to Alabama on Thursday to present the check . The $1000 donation will be presented to The Children’s Place Thursday, April 24th at 3:00 p.m. Hwy 55 is located in the shopping center beside the Pell City Wal-Mart.
