Ladies believing, understanding, guiding and serving (LadyBUGS) are about awarding scholarships to high school senior girls.
This Leeds/Moody based group provides scholarships to two Leeds senior high school girls and two Moody senior high school girls based on overall need, community involvement, extracurricular activities and grade point average (GPA).
In order to raise money for these scholarships this organization relies on its members.
Looking forward to growing the club’s membership LadyBUGS are hosting a Meet & Greet event next Tuesday, March 4th at The Livery located at 8334 Thornton Avenue (across from the Leeds Depot) from 5 – 7 p.m.
LadyBUGS members extend an invitation to all area women interested in helping the young ladies of their communities further their education to attend this Meet & Greet event.
The invitation is also extended to the gentlemen in Leeds and Moody as well they just need to be sure to tell the ladies in their lives about the many ways LadyBUGS benefit these communities. ☺
Working with a great core of women that come from all walks of the business community (and one recently retired member) the lovely ladies that make up LadyBUGS are bankers, lawyers, executive directors with both the Leeds area and Moody area chambers of commerces, marketers, public relations specialists and numerous other occupations.
In order to increase their membership the ladies are looking for like-minded individuals who want to see their communities thrive in part because of the work they’re doing.
Taking on Fat Tuesday head on the LadyBUGS Meet & Greet will be Mardi Gras themed.
Excited to share the mission of LadyBUGS with the masses each member looks forward to seeing you at The Livery for the Meet & Greet event.
