The Alabama Cooperative Extension System’s St. Clair County office will be offering introductory Agricultural Accounting classes on Monday, March 17th at the ALFA Building, Farmers Federation Auditorium for new and established farmers and ranchers, as well as the general public. These financial record-keeping classes will be offered in three formats:
· Handwritten spreadsheets – 2 hours
· Excel spreadsheets – 2 hours
· QuickBooks Pro – 3 hours (class 1 of 3)
These classes are a new addition to the Alabama Cooperative Extension System’s Agricultural Business Management series. Cost is $5 per class. You must pre-register no later than March 12th.
Classes will be limited to a maximum of 10 students per class. Students enrolling in the two computer-based classes will work on Extension-provided Dell laptops and should be computer literate. The class instructor will be Extension Economist Robert Page, CPA and QuickBooks Pro-Advisor.
