On January 31st, 2014, Annie Tyree, St. Clair County Extension Office Administrative Support Associate, retired after almost 40 years of service with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES).
Annie was born and raised in Greene County and begin her career with in the Greene County Extension office on February 18, 1974. She was hired by Dr. Gaines Smith who later became the ACES Director. In 1981, she married Eddie Tyree and then transferred to the Calhoun County Extension office. In 1998, she joined the St. Clair County Extension office.
On Tuesday, January 28, 2014, Annie was recognized and honored by the St. Clair County Commission and presented with a resolution.
