Winter weather intensifies

- Scenes from the snow storm that struck St. Clair a couple of weeks ago.
Winter precipitation is expected to fall between 9 pm and midnight in St. Clair County. Rain will turn to ice over night and change to snow by noon tomorrow.
The storm is expected to pass Wednesday around midnight according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected to reach just above freezing tomorrow and then drop back down below freezing early Thursday morning. By Thursday afternoon temperatures are expected rise above the freezing mark.
St. Clair County Schools, Leeds, Pell City Schools and Victory Christian School will all be closed tomorrow.
Red Cross Shelters opening at 9:00pm in St Clair County: Pell City Civic Center, Steele Methodist, Springville Methodist, and Moody Methodist.
Driving conditions are expected to be very hazardous or impossible. Officials across the county are urging people to stay off roads as much as possible.
