Polished, pampered and feeling like a princess is how you’ll feel after you leave Serenity Day Spa.

Celebrating its grand opening in April, owner Pam Sessions says she meets new friends everyday.

“We also offer spa packages and do private parties,” Pam said. “We specialize in GNO’s (Girls Night Out) and Princess Parties for the younger girls. All our attention is on them and we have lots of fun.”
Having 12 members on staff works well for Sessions as the word about Serenity is spreading.
Cherize Andino, Serenity’s massage therapist, is a Pell City resident and says seeing a lot of repeat customers makes her happy.
“People are astonished about the transformation of the building,” Andino said. “They love all the services and tell us this is something they’ve been looking for.”
With a degree in massage therapy from Baltimore School of Massage, Serenity guests are in good hands with Andino.
Master Cosmetologist with a degree from Leeds Beauty School, home health care provider (her speciality is Senior care) and spa owner, Sessions says she’s working on her Master’s in Home Health Care Management.
“I enjoy my job. It’s always something different and we’re in the middle of everything with our location,” said Sessions. “It’s a great place to be.”
Busy promoting their services and spa packages on Facebook and at their website, www.serenitybegins.com, the motto at Serenity Day Spa is, “Where It’s All About Me.”
“Serenity is a place where people can sit in quiet and relax,” said Sessions.
Providing hair care services as well, this day spa carries Bed Head and Redken products along with Kenra tanning lotions and Skin Authority which is a top of the line product that is only carried in the area at Ross Bridge and One Nineteen other than Serenity Day Spa.
“We’re half priced comparatively and one of three in the Birmingham area that carry Skin Authority,” Sessions said.
Looking to take care of those who work hard everyday, teachers are given 10 percent off at Serenity.
They also offer new customer specials and host a referral program, as well as Facebook giveaways.
“This is the place to come relax and de-stress. Our main focus in on our client,” said Sessions.
