Dorothy (Dot) Hess

Dorothy (Dot) Hess, age 93 of Leeds, Ala., passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013.  

Mrs. Hess was preceded in death by her husband, William “Buddy” Hess; daughter, Jimmie Dean Tompkins; and parents, Forrest and Annabel Moore.  She was in charge of Mt. Hebron Cemetery for multiple years.

She is survived by her grandson, Kelly Tompkins and wife Janet, and great-grandchildren Lauren Tompkins and Dylan Tompkins. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on July 25, 2013 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.  Interment will follow at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
