Benjamin Madison Hestley
Benjamin Madis Hestley, age 78, of Pell City, passed away June 18th.
The family will receive friends Friday. June 21 from 10 a.m- 11 a.m at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Service for Mr. Hestley will be Friday, June 21 at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Chapel.
Mr. Hestley is survived by his wife, Neva J. Hestley, three sons, Rev. Russell S. (Alice) Hestley, Alan B. (Becky) Hestley, Jeff (Vicki) Hestley, sister, Flora Bryant, seven grandchildren, Benjamin D. Hestley, Marie Hestley, William J. Hestley, Caroline Hestley, Andrew Hertig, Emma Lee Huneycutt, John Anthony Huneycutt, one great-grandchild, Turner Clark Hestley, Host of Nieces and Nephews.
Mr. Hestley is preceded in death by brothers, Louie P. Hestley, clarence “Bud” Hestley, Waymon E. Hestley; sister, Faith Henderson. Served in the US Air Force. Retired Master Sergeant from Alabama Air National Guard 117th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing. Member of Pell City First United Methodist Church. Member of Pell City Lions Club where he served as President and District Governor Member of American Legion Post 109. Member of the Air Force Sergeants Association. Member of the Sons of Confederate veterans St. Clair Camp 308. Chairman of the Board of the John W. Inzer Museum in Ashville. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to Lakeside Hospice or the John W. Inzer Museum.
