Green Wave cook-off

- Starting what it hopes will be an annual outing, the Leeds Quarterback Club hosted the first Green Wave Pigskin Cook-Off. Serving as judges were Rep. Dickie Drake, head varsity football coach Keith Etheredge, and Bill Morris with Leeds Waterworks. Winner of the Best Butt contest was Moody High School graduate Eddie Claridy, while the Green Wave apron for Best Ribs went to Pell City attorney Lance Bell.
