Climate change facts?   The material “scientists” have provided describing the pending global climate disaster is an opinion based on supposition.  Scientists have taken a set of what they believed to be the controlling factors of climate change and built computer models to demonstrate their conclusions.  

As years have passed, these scientists have been well funded by political entities around the world.  We have been provided with a completely new vocabulary: climate change, green energy, renewable energy, sustainable energy, global warming, wind farms, etc.  The problem that confronts the scientists is our global weather patterns are behaving as the models predict.  The globe is not getting warmer it is cooling.  

To discuss the scientific facts around the subject is to tilt at windmills, to shadow box with a fictitious foe.  Much of the data used to support the theories was of questionable quality and has been purposely corrupted to provide findings that support green energy fraud.  

Ice cores that have been studied revealing a climate history going back over 24,000 years indicates our current global temperatures are well within the historic norms.  The CO2 levels are within the historic global norms.  While the climate change scientists have been writing fiction for the politicians, we have seen temperatures predictably shift to a cooler pattern.  We have just seen the second colder than normal winter in our area and that pattern has been noted worldwide.  Rivers in Alaska have set new records for ice coverage and late dates for becoming ice free.  England has noted one of the coldest springs since 1891.  

Many of the global weather patterns such as El Nino/La Nina and the Pacific Decadal Oscillation have shifted to their cold phase.  We are moving to a weather pattern similar to those seen in the fifties, colder winters, much colder winters.  Politically the luster is falling off the global climate change/green energy fraud.  Any energy source that involves burning fuel to generate energy has been attacked by the green energy or environmental groups.  Many of the changes that have been forced by the green groups have proved to be anything but green or dependable.   Each one of the cute little curly fluorescent light bulbs have a small amount of mercury in them.  We are told to dispose of them properly when they burn out but there is no means offered to properly dispose of them.

Wind energy and solar are a promise that may work in some areas but here in the South, where much of the energy is consumed by air conditioning systems, they have not proved to be effective.  Without regard to their economic viability, our local power companies are being forced by regulators to move from dependable fossil fuel systems to questionable “renewable energy” sources.  

California’s politicians, the leaders in energy madness, are currently working to limit or prohibit the development of natural gas reserves in California.  Political pressure nationwide is to move away from fossil fuel systems that work toward a variety of renewable energy systems that don’t work.  

Our federal government has spent 6.5 billion dollars subsidizing the electric car industry, much of it ending up in technology that has found its way to China.  Prior to Watergate, the Tea Pot Dome scandal was thought to be the most significant political scandal in our nation’s history.  Adding to the billions spent on electric cars, our government has spent many more billions on failed wind and solar energy projects despoiling our landscape while providing little cost effective energy.  More billions have been spent on battery development, low energy lighting solutions, and CO2 capture.  Much of the money was spent on failed projects but the true purpose of the spending has been to transfer your tax dollars to the pockets of companies involved in these failed projects.  

One recurring name in the green energy benefit invitation list has been GE.  If you look close at the current scandals associated with the Obama administration you will find that none of them involve as much money as the “Green Energy Scams.”  There is real science behind these scams, the science of misdirection to support planned fraud.  The green energy fraud is moving billions of tax dollars to private hands with no promise of any taxpayer benefit.  

Tea Pot Dome and Watergate were child’s play in comparison.
