The Logan Martin Lake Protection Association (LMLPA) will be having its Winter General Meeting at the new Lincoln City Hall in the City Council Chamber on December 17 at 6:30 PM.

This will give members and guests an opportunity to tour the city’s new facility.  Lincoln’s new mayor, Bud Kitchen who serves on the LMLPA’s board and is the member at large on the Executive Committee, has made this possible.

LMLPA will host two speakers at the meeting that should be very interesting to members.   Ken Meredith, National Flood Insurance Program State Coordinator for the state of Alabama will give an overview of the FEMA Flood Insurance Program.  Peggy Mann, Executive Director for the Red Cross of St Clair and Talladega will talk about weather preparedness for winter and spring.

LMLPA will give a report with updates on the various projects of LMLPA.  This event is open to the public and provide everyone with an opportunity to join or renew memberships to LMLPA so they can have direct influence on our beautiful lake.
