The new St. Vincent’s St. Clair is hosting a free health fair at the hospital on Saturday, September 29, from 8 a.m. until 12 noon. St. Vincent’s St. Clair is located at 7063 Veterans Parkway, Pell City, Alabama.

Free screenings for adults include cholesterol, blood sugar (glucose), blood pressure and body composition. Fasting is not necessary for these tests.  “Screening results will be available at the fair, and registered dietitians will explain the results,” says St. Vincent’s Wellness Services Supervisor Kimberly Rider. “You leave knowing what you can do. You learn whether you need to make lifestyle changes, continue what you are doing, or make an appointment with a doctor.”

The fair will feature information booths with local physician practices and outpatient services of St. Vincent’s Health System, with staff members able to answer your questions.

Regional Paramedical Services will be on hand for ambulance tours and information. There will be refreshments and door prizes.
