The proceeds from ATROX activities goes to local charities such as Special Olympics, Pell City Animal Shelter, Ashville Baseball, St. Clair County Baseball, Shepherds Supply , Leeds High School cheerleaders, Heart Gallery and more.

Opening this Friday, September 28, horror phenomenon Walter Phelan from Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses will be on hand scaring up guests as they await their turn at being haunted.

Over the years, the list of celebrity ghouls has included Robert Englund (Freddie Krueger) Linda Blair (The Exorcist) and Cassandra Peterson (Elvira), to name a few.

What really brings this haunted horrors to life are the group of experts generating the screams face-to-face and behind the scenes.

Excelling in make-up, FX design, CAD (computer aided drafting), security, Monster Mom and construction, it’s no wonder horror fans wait in line to get scared out of their wits.

Whether going up against the Gauntlet (an industrial fan) or battling a butcher in his whacked out meat market, thrill seekers’ adrenaline will be surging once doors open at the factory.

With 50,000 square feet to customize their haunting design, the ATROX crew had one mission in mind—to entertain.

Attaining access to the “arena” means ATROX enthusiasts can enter the emporium to purchase items, grab a snack, watch a movie or mingle with the horror celebrities.

Admission to the arena is $5. This also allows guests the opportunity to purchase tokens (not tickets at ATROX) for $18 to be frightened for a lifetime.

Tokens are assorted by random body parts and called accordingly. When freight fans hear “you many enter the cage,” they are only minutes away from scare tactics.

Not appropriate for children 12 and under, ATROX, Latin for the word horror, has built on its former freight predecessor, Slain Manor to create an even more gruesome world of spooks.

For fans of things that freight you, crowds have been heard screaming for more as they come to the end of the fright zone.
