Metro Bank adds two board members

The Board of Directors of Metro Bank, Pell City has announced the addition of Judge Philip K. Seay and Jason M. Dorough as members.
Judge Seay, a native of Henry County, graduated from Abbeville High School in 1983 and received a BS in Marketing from the University of Alabama in 1988.  He received his Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law-Samford University in 1992 and served with the US Army National Guard from 1989-1992. 
Judge Seay moved to Pell City in 1992 and partnered with the Law Firm of Church and Seay, PC.  He practiced law in St. Clair County until he began service as a District Judge in January 2005.  In September 2011 he began serving as circuit judge in St. Clair County.  He has been married to Michele (Church) for 20 years, and they have two children, Thomas, 15, and Margaret, 12. They are members of First Baptist Church Pell City.
Judge Seay has completed Leadership Pell City 2000-2001, Leadership Alabama 2008-2009; and Leadership St. Clair County 2009-2010.  He has been a member of the Leadership St. Clair County Executive Committee since 2010. He is member and past president of the Pell City Kiwanis Club, member and past president of the Pell City Chamber of Commerce, member and current president of the Lakeside Hospice Board. He is a member of the St. Clair County Day Program Board, St. Clair County Children’s Policy Council, St. Clair County Boys and Girls Club Advisory Board, Moody Chamber of Commerce, Moody Business Association, Springville Chamber of Commerce, Pell City DARE Board, Jefferson State Community College Advisory Board, past member St. Clair County MRDD Board and the St. Clair County Head Start Policy Council and past president of the Coosa Valley Elementary PTO.
Jason Dorough, a native of Pell City, graduated from Pell City High School in 1988.  After graduation, he attended the University of Alabama where he received a BS in Finance in 1992.  He also graduated from The Alabama Banking School in 1997.
Jason and his wife, Cara (Stanfa), have two children, ,Bryant, 3 and Grace, 1.  He is the son of Joe and Sandy Dorough of Pell City.  
Dorough has been employed by Metro Bank since 1992 and currently serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
The board expressed confidence that Seay and Dorough will contribute to the continuing growth and success of Metro Bank.
