Comfy-chic style is now available by way of Loft Outlet at The Outlet Shops of Grand River.
Celebrating its grand opening this week, doors officially opened at Loft Wednesday.
A ribbon cutting was held to welcome the new retailer to the Leeds area.
“We’re really excited to have you here,” said Leeds Mayor Eric Patterson. “I’ve heard so many women say Loft is ‘the’ best place. We want to welcome you to the City of Leeds.”
Loft Outlet is a division of Ann Taylor that according to Anninc.com is a brand that believes “the best relationships are built on trust. Well, that and an amazing wardrobe. We give fashion advice, ideas and inspiration that make style aspirations attainable.”
Backing that statement is Loft Outlet store manager Melissa Johnson.
“Loft offers trendy missy and petite clothing with great customer service,” said Johnson. “Loft is about having a unique experience.”
Continuing to bring new jobs to Leeds and its neighboring areas, Loft is still hiring.
Offering sizes from zero to 16, and up to size 14 in petites, Loft also has sizes extra small to extra large in tops.
Leeds councilwoman for District 4 Charlotte Earnest attended the grand opening as well as the ribbon cutting ceremony.
“My 94-year-old mother loves Ann Taylor,” said Earnest. “I know this store will be extremely popular. It’s so stylish.”
The Outlet Shops of Grand River welcomes two more retailers within the upcoming months with the opening of Motherhood Maternity on August 16 and Johnston & Murphy on September 1.
