Funeral Services for Vaughn Taylor, Jr., age 92, Leeds, AL, were held on Saturday, February 18, 2012, 11 AM, at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Trussville, AL following the services.  The family received friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Mr. Taylor, Jr. passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012.

He is preceded in death by his wives, Fannie Taylor and Pauline Taylor; son, Mike Taylor; grandson, Barry Carr; parents, Vaughn Taylor, Sr. (Ethel); brother, Ray Taylor (Elizabeth) and Troy Taylor (Virginia).

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Woods; daughter-in-law, Becky Mackey (David); brother, Jeff Taylor (Willie) of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Trista Kelly (Patrick), Robin Witte (Jimmy), and Jeff Carr (Jackie); great grandchildren, Amanda Witte, Kayla Witte, Michael Carr (Christy), and Tyler Carr; and great-great grandchild, Gage Carr.

Mr. Taylor was a member of United Methodist Church of Theodore, AL and a member of Leeds Masonic Lodge.
