Funeral services for Walter Martin, Jr., age 74, of Ashville, AL, will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012, 12 PM, at Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City, AL with Rev. Wayne Arnold and Rev. Keith Clay officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.  Interment will follow the services at Box Cemetery. The Pallbearers are; Rusty Chamness, Cody Chamness, E.J. Moss, Dino Martin, David Martin, and James Martin.  The Honorary Pallbearers are; Michael Reed, Joseph Arnold, Don Stokes and Roger Dardin.

Walter passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 in Birmingham, AL.

Mr. Martin, Jr., is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Shirley Martin of Ragland; daughters, Nancy Martin of Pell City, Patricia (Wayne) Arnold of Ragland, Donna Rutledge of Abingdon, VA; sons, David Martin of Centerpoint, AL, James Earl (Tina) Martin of Ashville; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Walter enjoyed being with his dog, Bubba.  He also enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles.
