Glenda Hughston Mowery

Glenda Hughston Mowery, age 67, was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County.  She attended Horns Memorial Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held on Friday, January 6, 2012, 2 PM, at Hepzibah Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Williams and Rev. Randy Harrelson officiating.  Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Mowery passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at Princeton Hospital in Birmingham, AL.

Preceding her in death are her husband, John A. Mowery; sister, Margaret H. Williams; brothers, Clarence A. Hughston, Billy J. Hughston, and Tommy R. Hughston.

Survivors include her son, Vance Mowery (Reva) of Talladega; daughter, Leslie Casey-Mitchell (James P.) of Munford; grandchildren, Amber Elaine Casey of Munford, Taj Seals of Talladega and Chelsea Mowery of Childersburg; sisters, Mary H. Edwards of Talladega, Linda Riddley of Albertville; brothers, James S. Hughston, Frank A. Hughston, and Kenneth M. Hughston all of Talladega; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Honorary Pallbearers were the Childersburg High School Softball Team.
