The city of Moody will be hosting “A Day of Remembrance” on behalf of St. Clair County on the 10th anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001.

The event is planned as a time to remember those who lost their lives and who have sacrificed for the nation’s freedom. During the ceremony, officials will recognize local firefighters, law enforcement and emergency responders.

Donations will be taken for the Wounded Warrior Project after the ceremony.
