Moody Council: Bass Pro bond reclassification OK’d

Bonds, upkeep and improvements were on the agenda at tonight’s Moody City Council meeting.  Reclassification of the bonds issued at the time of the Bass Pro Shop deal were approved by the city, which could be beneficial to the city of Moody. The resolution of the reclassification of the bond issuance is contingent upon approval of all parties involved at the time the deal was made.

Council Member Lynn Taylor, Wayne Taylor with Public Works and Police Chief Bobby Breed requested the council’s approval on improvements to  fire department vehicles, street repair and blood-borne path kits which prevent disease and contamination. While Mayor Joe Lee asked the council to approve funds allocated to the much needed upkeep and maintenance along the creek bank area on Carl Jones Road.
